Just starting your wedding planning process and at a loss where to begin? Maybe a walk through of the thought process of this talented team of creatives will be helpful!
From the team:
The inspiration for this styled shoot began with wanting to use natural elements such as wood and marble. We kept the design clean and minimal featuring mid-century pieces, then softened it with organic fall foliage and neutral blooms, maintaining an overall romantic aesthetic. We then decided on a color palette of deep burgundy, soft beige and muted blush tones, which was carried into the floral arrangements and arch. Adding to this palette with a touch of navy in the paper goods gave the palette a wonderful sense of depth.
For the tablescape, the beige linens served as the perfect foundation. From there we added added different tones of our palette with taupe plates, brushed black flatware, ivory linen napkins, and espresso-toned, vintage stemware. Layering on dark fruits with the florals, and rattan chairs with the tied into the natural elements and mid-century theme. We kept the cake simple, featuring different textures on each tier with the same foliage and blooms.
For our last shot of the day, we created a bed of blooms and foliage on the cement floor by pulling everything off the arch. We had our model lay down and in the most perfect natural light. This was one of our favorite shots of the day!
