Bethany + John | Junko Yoshioka Wedding from Don Wright Designs

This wedding is pin-fully delicious, straight to hairstyles and floral boards this is going!  I love Bethany’s french braided headband hair style and matte finished curls.  Combined with her Junko Yoshioka wedding gown this look is whimsical and feminine.  As for the rich floral arrangements, where to begin?  Truly, I don’t know…deep reds, orange and pale yellow, mixed with muted green succulents and then that smokey dark blue? So different, rich and vibrant and also very complimentary to the subtle nod to John’s Korean heritage…once again referenced in the gentle and proud air of the mother-of-the-groom’s traditional Korean Hanbok dress.  Thank you Bethany + John for sharing…and for bringing your sweetheart french bulldog to the big day too!

Bethany + John | October 27, 2012 | Savannah, GA | Dress Listing: Junko Yoshioka, ‘Verde’

The Ceremony
In a tented courtyard, complete with chandeliers and gorgeous white pillars, the ceremony was beautiful and contemporary.

The Reception
In the hotel’s main ballroom, the reception was elegant yet festive with amazingly creative centerpieces designed by Dave Jackson.

Bethany’s Dress Search
I thought I wanted a 20s-style dress (slinky and form fitting), but that style was not as flattering or as impressive as the dress I got. The dress I bought, Verde by Junko Yoshioka, was much different than I expected but when I put it on, I knew it was perfect.

How Bethany Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Graceful, exceptional and (honestly) completely COMFORTABLE.

Why Bethany Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I decided to sell my dress because I would rather have someone else feel as special as I did, rather than storing it in a closet for years.
