Today’s featured wedding comes to us from the Sundance Resort in Utah, a rustic mountain gathering complete with woodsy, cozy-chic decor. We love the beautiful exposed wood beams with warm candle light throughout and the long harvest tables decorated with eye-catching tall candle sticks and pretty white florals. Don’t miss Anna’s wintery fur shawl paired so elegantly with her stunning lace custom designed Mark Zunino wedding dress. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
The ceremony was hosted in the rehearsal hall at the Sundance Resort. Alex is from LA and the two of us decided to get married in Utah because our close friend owns the Sundance Resort and it was a good neutral location to bring people together from the East and West Coast. For the ceremony we set up the chairs indoors in a circle with a reclaimed wood platform in the middle. We brought pine trees into the space and illuminated the aisle with candles. A round chandelier and group of flowers hung over the platform.
The Reception
The reception was in the Redford Center and we similarly brought the outside indoors. We hung gold tree branches over the tables and balls of flowers over the dance floor. It felt whimsical.
Anna’s Dress Search
I tried on over 50 dresses. I went to Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Saks etc., but I didn’t find what I had in mind and I decided to have my dress made by a couture designer in LA. I started with a silhouette of a Vera Wang dress that I liked and ordered laser cut lace from Holland to make the dress. The internal structure of the gown and the fabric are the most important elements of any dress.

Confident, Feminine, Timeless
Why Anna Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
It was stressful for me to spend $8000 on a dress that I wore for four hours and if I share this dress with another person then that money will be money better spent.
