Real Wedding | Angie + Garrett

Today’s Real Wedding from Scottsdale, Arizona is such a treat and inspired by the bride’s childhood dreams of lace and a wedding outdoors!  I love the soft and delicate array of purple florals, the bird cage center pieces and the beautiful arabesque three-tiered cake. Every detail is perfect, but what really made Angie + Garrett’s day complete was including their three dogs in the ceremony and in honor of their recently deceased cat and dog Angie attached their name tags to her bouquet. I LOVE this!!

The Ceremony + Reception
We had an outdoor garden wedding at The Hyatt Gainey Ranch, we love the outdoors and from the time I was a little girl I always knew I wanted to have both my reception and ceremony outside. As animals lovers and “parents” of a houseful of rescue dogs we knew they where going to be a part of our wedding from day one. My bridal bouquet also had attached the name-tags from our very first dog who had passed away of cancer a few months before our wedding and one of our cats who had passed away that year too.

Angie’s Dress Search
Going into dress shopping the only thing I was certain of was that I wanted lace. I love lace! And Monique Lhuillier does lace flawlessly! I really had no idea what style, whether I wanted strapless, or a big puffy dress, so I started the process with a pretty open mind. The first dress store we went to was a few days after we had got engaged and I went with my mom and grandmother, and basically said “Anything lace I’ll try!” Well the first dress that I tried on ended up to being “The One”. I tried other dresses on and even went to other stores but after a few weeks my mind kept going to that very first dress I tried on. So my mom and I, without an appointment, decided to just stop by to look at it again. So we walked in and asked if there was any way to just look at this one dress that I tried on a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t remember the name. So the lady said sure just come on up stairs and see if you find it. Well as we went up the stairs there it was on the manikin at the very top of the stairs (it wasn’t there when I had first went in). That’s when I knew that was the one! The first dress I tried on was the one!

Why Angie Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I decided to sell my wedding dress because this dress deserves to be worn again! And I hope that it can give someone the joy that it gave me!
