This Ontario wedding is pure magic. Held at a stunning family cottage on Georgian Bay, the venue was warm, inviting and well-loved. The decor complimented the setting’s natural beauty with soft greenery and unstructured bouquets and centerpieces. Angela’s Galia Lahav was elegant yet simple, and she knew on first sight that she’d found her perfect dress.

Angela’s Wedding Dress Search
I was obsessed with Israeli dresses and struggling with the fact that they were all out of my budget. Just as I was about to give up on them, Galia Lahav released their Gala line of ready-to-wear dresses (which, though barely, were within budget!) and I knew as soon as I tried on this dress that it was the one. The dainty straps, the elegant chantilly lace, the unexpected feathery appliqués and the sultry backless design/train were extraordinary. More importantly, as the picky bride who had tried on 20+ dresses unsuccessfully, I had absolutely zero bones to pick with this one. It was love at first sight!

Why She’s Selling Her Wedding Dress
While it’s nice to think of passing my dress down to my daughter in the future etc., I have yet to meet a daughter who wants to wear her mom’s wedding dress (ha!). I thought it would be better to pass this dress on to another bride who can find joy in it in the present.
