Talk about a pretty wedding! Take a peak at this gorgeous affair photographed by Michelle Quance Photography. I just love how the wedding and dinner were created with a classic, elegant white color palette with only a few hints of hot pink. Then, guests were surprised when the doors open to reveal a chic and stylish lounge with hot pink everywhere. What fun! No wonder the guests and couple celebrated into the wee hours of the night.
From Libby ~ “We wanted to keep the ceremony classic and white. We followed this into the reception portion of the evening with dinner being white with hints of pink in the menu cards and the wedding cake. It was not until we opened the doors to the after party did our true color – hot pink – become apparent.
Patrick and I love skiing so we wanted to create a space that really gave guests a taste of our relationship and an apres ski themed lounge was a fun way to do that.
We created a entrance that included a birch wall with branches and tons of candles to create that extra warm feeling of walking into a cozy room on a cold winters night. (in the middle of June, and we had the AC on full for increased effect). Once inside, guests found a room with a hot pink carpet, white draped walls, back lit with hot pink lights, a white plexi bar and vinyl dance floor. The room also had white couches, wooden stumps, the ice sculptures, the antler chandeliers, and the fur throws. They all added a real glam to our theme.”
