From the bride Annie:
The style of our wedding can be described as moody and romantic. Connor and I wanted to create an intimate space for their celebration with 200 family and friends. We worked with friend and wedding planner, Jessica Sloane, to make our vision came to life.
The greenhouse itself was already quite beautiful and open. We brought in 2 oversized tapestries in our color palate to anchor one end of the room. These tapestries really became the inspiration for our event. Three rows of long tables stretched from one end of the room to the other, decorated with grey linens, deep plum napkins, greenery with single, purple blooms popping out, black flatware, and candlelight. It all added to the moody, romantic feel.
At the other end of the room was the reception bar space which held two stunning floral arrangements. Similar to the brides bouquet, the arrangements were very artistic. Finally, Jessica and I utilized some of greenhouse trees and plants to balance the space and create a layered look. In the end it all came together exactly as we had wished. Rather than creating a problem, the rain added another organic detail – adding to the whole beautiful effect (so glad we were prepared with the umbrellas)!
