From the photographer:
This styled shoot was inspired by the delicate balance between the ying and the yang. We wanted to capture the mixture of two different energies and two differents appearances. I was blown away by the fact that these two souls became one in an amazing way – their intimacy was really powerful. Every movement was natural, as they easily forgot the camera. Every detail was based on minimalism, softness, and delicateness.

Although the details were minimalistic, we balanced that with a cozy environment created with wood chairs and table, candles, and a lot of natural light. I choose to shoot at the Studio Quotidien because doing it was a challenge for me. It is often hard to capture emotion in a neutral, minimal environment. Here I believe it made the images even more impactful.

The artistic director and I were inspired by autumn because we believe that this is the most beautiful season. The dried leaves made the floral bouquet even more attractive. They became the focal point, but made the roses appear even more alive. We hope you enjoy our shoot and its message that love has no borders.
