Back at the reception, a framed image of a tree had everyone’s table number assignment and gave off the feeling of our own vast family tree. At each chair were “placecards” written on creek stones that we collected together on several trips upstate (we reside in Brooklyn). The candle pillars, table numbers and cake stands were all made by Edward’s father (we kept him very busy!) and everyone was able to take them home. We found our cake topper in an antique shop in New Paltz. We had a cake on each table as the centerpiece with scattered peonies, ranunculuses and seeded eucalyptus making each table scape unique. The cakes were delicious to anyone out there in the Albany area! Yay Crisan!
