We absolutely love the location for today’s featured carefree outdoor couple’s session: a national park, filled with roaming wild horse and buffalo! This particular photo session was planned as part of a photography workshop in Amsterdam, but we could absolutely see couples around the world finding similar amazing locations to use for the engagement, bridal portraits, wedding or anniversary photo sessions. Forest? Beach? Mountain? Wide open field on the prairies? When we stop to look at the beauty that we’re blessed with in our own backyards, rather than jealously ogle at the scenery somewhere else, photographic magic can happen. This somewhat wild scene was perfect for this couple, adding a sense of freedom, closeness to nature, and heightening the carefree feel of their love!

“This story was a part of my workshop in Amsterdam. The idea was to show a couple of free souls who are too in love to care about the surrounding world and to keep the shoot clean and simple. We chose a national park close to the North Sea as the location. On the day we first saw this gorgeous spot, we were so excited to see that it was full of wild horses and buffalo! There was a spirit of freedom was in the air, and this helped us to create story that celebrates love, purity, closeness to nature and simple moments.”
