The Ceremony
Our Catholic wedding ceremony took place in a grotto church in Xcaret, a national park in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The church was breathtaking and it made our ceremony unique and unforgettable.
The Reception
We held our reception at the private Beach Club in an open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The beach club restaurant was a perfect setting for a fun celebration after a delicious and original Mexican dinner. The dinner was full of emotional toasts from family and friends. After dinner, our American and Russian guests learned some line dances from the Mexican side of the family and the band kept everyone dancing through the night.
Anastasija’s Dress Search
I tried on nine dresses, but the first dress I tried on turned out to be “the one.” As soon as I put it on, I felt that it embodied everything I was looking for and was perfect for my wedding. The quality of the dress was also significantly better than other dresses that I tried on and the difference was very noticeable in the details, lace, and material.
