What a great way to kick-off the week…featuring a deliciously French and intimate garden wedding set at the Chateau Massillan in Provence, France. Such a gorgeous day and a glamorous Jenny Packham gown called Fracncesca! And I love that traditional French food, amazing wine and this historic atmosphere reigned king for Baron + Baroness de Rosenwerth’s wedding day. A real treat, enjoy!

The Ceremony
Our ceremony was held in the gardens of the Chateau Massillan, with 45 of our close friends and family. The Chateau dates back to 1550 and owned by Diane de Poitier, the famous long life companion of Henry II. Initially built as Poitiers hunting Lodge, the 24 acres of surrounding land now operates as vineyards.
The Reception
The reception was held in the courtyard of the Chateau with traditional French food. For starters we served Scallops, Fois Gras Main Fillet de Beouf, Sea Bass then a traditional cheese course. We drank French Ruinart Rose Champagne all day, French Chateauneuf de Pape red wine and Sancerre white wine. During dinner we had music by Michael Buble performed by tribute act, Kriz K. We had a French wedding cake called croquembouche made by a traditional French bakery. We spread our wedding event over three days so the day after we had a very glamorous barbecue of seafood, lamb, veal with all the trimmings of a five star service…with the local Chateau Rose wine.
