Danielle + James’ elegant southern estate wedding in Atlanta, Georgia was an intimate event for 50 of their closest friends and family. Amidst rich cedars in a crisp white gazebo the bride and groom said ‘I do’ at sunset. I love all the classic details from this historical southern mansion in Cornflower blue, cream and vintage lace…and how Danielle’s Alvina Valenta lace gown and her soft satin sash with floral accents are beautifully echoed in the silk blue table runners and the pale yellow Gerber daisies + succulents in the centerpieces. Just lovely!

The Ceremony
The bride & groom were united in marriage in the outside garden of the historical southern mansion. Fifty guests were in attendance as the couple exchanged personal vows in a sunset ceremony.
The Reception
The elegant southern manor home with a grand entrance, 28 foot ceilings, chandeliers, hardwood floors and plentiful windows letting sunshine in was the perfect backdrop for James & Danielle’s vintage modern soiree. Cornflower blue, cream & vintage lace completed the look.
Danielle’s Dress Search
I initially looked for a satin ball gowns and A-line dresses because I always felt these types of dresses were the most flattering for my body type. However, I ended up buying a form fitting lace dress. It made me feel beautiful and complimented my curves more than the ball gown style or A-line dresses did.
