Elizabeth and Benjamin’s garden ceremony and tent reception was fresh and fun with just the perfect mix of elegance and tradition. I love how this couple’s ceremony and cocktail hour was completely enveloped in the most enchanting, lush garden greenery; and the vibrant pops of fuchsia, coral, pinks and orange evoke the most youthful and celebratory vibe! It’s such a treat too that Elizabeth felt “Beautiful, comfortable and authentic” in her Priscilla of Boston gown – and may I add, what a perfect description for this entire wedding. Congrats to the happy couple!

The Ceremony + Reception
We had a Christian ceremony with Jewish elements – the chuppah, the breaking of the glass and a ketubah signing. The bride’s uncle performed the ceremony. Our Reception was full of color, with gorgeous flowers! The food was Indian inspired. We had a DJ and lots of dancing under the tent.
Elizabeth’s Dress Search
I had NO idea what kind of dress I wanted. I was not the little girl who has spent her childhood dreaming of her wedding dress. When I began the search, it was a little bit stressful. I didn’t really know where to start. I went to several bridal salons and tried on a range of dresses, but none of them really felt like me at all. It felt like I was impersonating a bride – not like this was me at my bridal best! I had settled on two possible dresses, a Sue Wong dress and a Nicole Miller dress, when I decided to go to Priscilla’s of Boston, just for kicks. I’m so glad I did. I tried this dress on and it felt right! I never thought I wanted a dress with a train, but when I tried this dress on, it made me feel so wonderful. It also seemed to work perfectly with my body type. The day of my wedding, I felt very beautiful in the dress.

Why Elizabeth Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I loved my dress so much. I really don’t want it lying in a box somewhere. It is gorgeous, made of very expensive and luxurious materials. I feel like it deserves to be enjoyed by several brides.
