Southern Inspiration

I was fortunate enough to grow up in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.   I later lived in Richmond, Virginia (Go Spiders!) another lovely Southern city.

Whenever I think of the South, I think of Charleston single houses with their big beautiful porches, horse drawn carriages and dripping spanish moss.  I also think of tradition,  graciousness, charm, and an effortless hospitality that is like none other.

Southern weddings are especially beautiful to me. And that is why I love the blog Little White Book so much.  Courtney provides a daily dose of Southern inspiration.  Just check out her post on Friday of an amazing Texas wedding. (You’ll get chills when you read what the bride says about her grandfather who passed away in the week before the ceremony).

Courtney was kind enough share two of her favorite Inspiration boards with us:

Savannah Inspiration Board

Savannah Inspiration Board

I can almost feel the history and heritage of Savannah in these boards.  And they definitely make me want to head South soon.  Until then, I’ll just keep making my daily stop at the Little White Book.  (Thanks, Courtney)
