Feathers are a symbol of both lightness and harmony, and the detail that we chose as the inspiration for this shoot. Through this work, we wish to inspire brides to search for details that can create an elegant and intimate wedding day.
Since we were looking for a mysterious and romantic tone of the shoot, Lake Como was the perfect exclusive location for us and Villa Pizzo was the impeccable venue with its centennial tradition. Together with Innocenti Studio, we desired to capture the wedding of Nate and Olivia, young lovers looking for a timeless place that consecrates their union.
Some of the people that made each detail special and unique are Antonio Riva – who dresses the bride with a gown of a candid colour and an infallible geometry – and Barbara Botta with her soft and romantic compositions made of greenery, eucalyptus, white lilies and a touch of blush of roses. Some precious details contribute to make the shoot so refined: carefully designed stationery to recall the ceiling of the villa, the renaissance style of the mise en place, the wedding cake based on leaves and feathers shapes. The result is a shot one in a million.
