We live in the deep south where a letterpress boutique is hard to come by, but most of our sweet clients find their way to our website from all around the world. Annalee, our client coordinator and I, the creative director, are the 2-woman cottage industry working from Lucky Luxe’s sunny loft in downtown Laurel, Mississippi. The past is something that we feel should be learned from, and the print design of bygone eras has the unique ability to take people back to a simpler, happier time. We find great inspiration in vintage postcards and advertising—the ephemera of magical and far-away places. We focus on giving every invitation the same attention to aesthetic detail that was so important in vintage design. We feel like modern design is often lacking in character and feeling, so our love for weathered and worn books, boots and quilts is apparent in all the pieces we create. Your love story is original, and we work with couples individually to find your style and create a brand that tells that story.
We also operate a small men’s letterpress boutique, Luther Luxe, that offers fully custom vintage-inspired letterpress calling cards and notecards for the groom and groomsmen.
