Saba and Ali’s traditional yet modern Persian wedding was incredibly romantic, but did not let up on the energy. Fuelled by live music and delectable treats, the wedding guests partied from the start of the ceremony until well into the night at this vibrant wedding. Touches of modern design infused the reception, like the luxurious white floral arrangements and rose-gold sequined linens.

The Ceremony
We fell in love with the venue at Silver Creek Valley Country Club the first time we saw it. There were rolling hills, cascading waterfalls and a lush landscape. A perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was a traditional Persian wedding ceremony. We had a traditional Sofreh Aghd which my mom made for us; everything was handmade! This lavish floor spread of food and decorations was set-up with the lush scenery and waterfalls as a backdrop. The weather was perfect and everything was gorgeous. My husband’s cousin was our officiate and it was a very lively ceremony and celebration. The guests were dancing the moment they got down to the ceremony site with live traditional music to accompany them.
The Reception
Our reception was in the ballroom that had floor to ceiling glass windows so we could still enjoy the breathtaking views of the hills, waterfalls, and city lights. We had 320 guests and the party started the moment the guests walked into the reception – even before we made our entrance! Persians love to party, especially at weddings! We had a lot of food, alcohol and dancing – the wedding was everything I wanted it to be. We partied until about 2 a.m. and the dance floor was packed the entire night!!!
Saba’s Dress Search
I tried on about 15 to 20 dresses. I am not a very emotional person so I did not cry when I found my dress, but I knew that I had found it because I didn’t want to take it off! I felt that the dress was very flattering and it made me feel sexy without showing much.

Why Saba Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I decided to sell my dress because I want someone to feel as gorgeous as I did in my dress. My dress is very special to me and the memories of my dress will be cherished. I would love someone to be able to have the same experience and I hope I can do that for someone.
