Wording Second Wedding Reception Invitations
There are times when the bride and groom would like to have a private ceremony or a larger reception and you’ll want to send reception invitations to some guests. According to etiquette, this is fine. Note that guests should never be invited to the ceremony and not the reception. If you opt to elope or host a reception on a later date (which is fine to do up to one year after the wedding) then please see, Wording invitations to a belated reception for parties hosted after an elopement or destination wedding.
