What to Wear for a Boudoir Session: Fun & Flirtatious

Last time, I shared some style choices for a sweet and feminine boudoir session, and today’s picks are a little more fun, flirtatious and colorful!

I really went for a more playful vibe here, choosing brighter colors, stripes and polka dots, and slightly more trendy finds like a romper and boyfriend shirt!

In addition to finding some cute wardrobe choices, I also wanted to share five tips for rocking your boudoir session:

Consider splurging on professional hair and makeup – you’ll feel like a goddess!
Wear loose clothing on the day of the photo shoot so you don’t have any lines on your skin. Also, consider wearing something that buttons so you don’t have to risk ruining your hair or makeup.
Don’t forget the accessories! Jewelry, neckties, hair pieces, etc. can really add to the overall look on camera.
Don’t wait until the last minute – get all of your primping done several days before the shoot, including haircuts, waxing, mani/pedis and getting a little sun. The night before, get plenty of sleep, hydrate and moisturize!
Most importantly, have fun! If you’re not enjoying yourself or if you feel uncomfortable, it’ll show in your photos. Confidence is the most beautiful thing in the world!
