It was really important for us to have our wedding feel like one big family dinner, so right off the bat we knew we wanted a family-style layout for dinner. It was hard to arrange with limited space – but with a little hard work and determination, we managed to accomplish it! To see all of our people side by side with one another was probably one of our favorite parts of the day. We’re so glad we stood firm with our vision – even when people told us it wouldn’t work.
My biggest piece of advice to othercouples would be to invest in the details that are the most meaningful to both of you. Don’t let outside expectations (or even ones you put on yourselves) dictate what you incorporate into your big day. It is your day, so create what appeals to you – and have fun!
