Wedding Redo? I Don’t Think So.

redo my wedding

redo my wedding

Question: My husband and I were married a little over a year ago. What was supposed to be my perfect day was ruined.

The ceremony was not what I had pictured. My father-in-law officiated the ceremony and told me he would use “traditional vows”. Instead, he used words such as “obey” and my husband and I didn’t even exchange vows. Then my mother-in-law got upset about decorations at the reception, and when my mother tried to calm her down, she started calling my family and me names. She made a big scene, and I was too upset to continue with the reception. To top it off, my cake fell over. Also, I was 3 months pregnant at the time. We didn’t get to have our first dance, cut our cake, or any of the traditional wedding things. My husband and I want to redo the whole wedding. We just don’t really know how to go about it. My question is how do I word the invitations?? How do I go abou the whole wedding? I hope you can help me! Any advice would help! Thanks!

I’m sorry, but you won’t be able to have a second wedding because you are already married. You can have a vow renewal, which is also called a reaffirmation. There is a plethora of information about vow renewals right here on page. Here you should find answers to all of your questions. About your invitations, these would be invitations to a vow renewal ceremony. To find amazing invitations you can see our top list of wedding invitation providers here.
