This creative styled proposal by Erin Tetterton Photography was inspired by the fine art of letter writing and the 1940s. From Erin: “Nika of Calligraphette & Co, who specializes in antique hand-writing, created a suite of letters written between two lovers. One in Europe and one in DC, both longing to be reunited. As the couple prepares to meet again, re-reading the letters. Upon being re-united, Matt proposes with a vintage ring. The flowers were designed by Michelle of Misa Floral to pay homage to both the past and present with the use of both dried and fresh flowers. Michelle wove flowers and vintage pieces into each scene as organically as possible, including the use on antique silver hollow-ware. The couple’s attire was selected with a preference for custom pieces. Sweet treats included handmade cookies iced with bas relief in the shape of stamps and envelopes and other treats by Fleur and Flour.”
