Combining elements of softness with pops of bold color, this lovely styled shoot by Red Trolley Studio and some of San Diego’s finest wedding vendors is a testament to vintage Hollywood glamour set against a beautiful San Pasqual Valley winery backdrop. The bride’s Claire Pettibone dress (“Chantilly”) has a show-stopping lace back, accented by a single strand of vintage pearls and a simple bouquet of astilbe. Her deep burgundy lips and soft, loose curls swept back with an intricate floral comb of ruby red succulents completely enhances the vintage Hollywood vibe. The sweethearts dine al fresco amidst the vineyards at a dining table with vintage table settings in peaches and golds. With hydrangeas, dahlias, garden roses and stock in shades of peaches and cream, the burst of dark burgundy peonies and amaranthus adds dramatic flair to the tablescape. A traditional buttercream cake along with delicious chocolate-filled macarons set on a vintage 3-tiered dessert tray provides the perfect dessert. The newlyweds make their getaway in a classic 1961 Austen Healy, foregoing the traditional “Just Married” sign in favor of a lush garland of greenery accented with Juliet Garden Roses and bold burgundy peonies.
