Viking Wedding Inspiration [Black & White Color Scheme]

A love for the show “Vikings” inspired this moody wedding inspiration shoot by Amber Cather Photography at Blue Ridge Lake! The minimalist theme focused around a black and white color scheme, but instead of a traditional raven, they changed things up with a white barn owl named Nehemiah. The bride looked gorgeous, barefoot with intricate braids in her hair, a sheer top dress, a bouquet of white roses and a black engagement solitaire. The table (with its beautiful view of the water) was filled with spreads of breads, cheeses, nuts and fruits arranged with black silverware and birch tree accents. The champagne even had fresh blackberries! The cake was solid black with feathers, and birch tree slices filled with black and white desserts accompanied the striking cake on the dessert display.
