Lauren and Chris chose Springdale Farm, one of the coolest urban farms in Austin, for their September wedding! The venue was enjoying a fall bounty of kale, spinach and swiss chard, some of which ended up being a delicious locally sourced, farm-fresh dinner under the oak trees for their guests. Lauren got ready in the on-site airstream trailer, which is covered in pastel linens, doilies and funky, chic details. Right before the ceremony, the looming storm clouds parted, and Lauren and Chris exchanged vows under a gorgeous oak tree in the warm afternoon sun. To continue with the local flair, the night was topped off with a live musician, a real cheese “cake” and a surprise visit by a food truck with ice cream sandwiches for dessert.
