Set on the stunning Adriatic Sea, this destination wedding inspiration in Croatia is sure to set your soul on fire. With a romantic and ethereal feel to this inspiration (loosely based on the Game of Thrones series) we kept it simple – and let the picturesque setting do the talking. Croatia is a main filming location for the series, and we wanted to play off the romantic and charming nature of the historical architecture, letting it shine through the imagery.
There’s no better way to experience this country than on the water, giving you access to the many diverse islands. We envisioned the couple, along with a small group of their closest friends and family, embarking on a seven day journey on the Adriatic Sea. Leading up to their ceremony, the group would spend time relaxing on their chartered yacht. There would be the opportunity to make multiple stops for portraits as well as enjoy the local flair of the islands of Mljet, Hvar, Korcula, and Brac. Of course, there would be a beautiful (and secluded!) dinner party on a private island. With their own yacht, they had the opportunity to drop anchor wherever they wished, allowing them to enjoy at their leisure, and create their own itinerary. It would be truly a unique and meaningful destination wedding experience – and one that you too can have!
