The Proposal
“We were headed to his parents’ lake house for Mother’s Day weekend. My (now) sister-in-law and I went to the grocery store and when we came back, there were candles all throughout the house, and she showed me a sign that said “Haylie, meet me on the dock.” I walked out and music started playing from the dock. I turned the corner of the boat house and there he was. It was beautiful. Once I said “YES!” We turned the corner and on his patio were 40 of our best friends and family waiting to celebrate all weekend. It was unbelievable!”
