Sunny Yellow DIY Wedding

Sydney and Kyle’s fabulous DIY summer wedding at the Rengstorff House was filled with cheerful and rustic yellow DIY details, including a number of finds from local estate sales. They used a rickety baker’s pantry for the dessert bar and an old mirror for the bar menu, for example. Sydney’s vintage brooch bouquet was a charming DIY addition, as well! Kyle’s dad designed the guest invites, and Sydney’s father drew the thumbprint tree guestbook. For dinner, guests enjoyed chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits paired with collard greens and ham hocks in honor of their love of Southern soul food. Their choice of music was inspired by movies they love, like the theme from Somewhere in Time and “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
