Madison and Don chose the beautiful Utah venue La Caille for their summertime wedding! The bride wanted a garden wedding, so she focused on accenting her coral and celadon palette with gorgeous flowers, candles and silver Chiavari chairs to make the setting really shine. She and her bridesmaids made all of the mustache seating cards, and for her “old, new, borrowed and blue,” Madison had a silver brooch from her grandmother in her bouquet, and a hankie monogrammed in blue by her sister. Pepper Nix Photography captured their gorgeous celebration!
A coral and celadon summer greenhouse wedding in Utah
Don first asked my Dad’s permission in October. Then in April, we were going out to dinner at Ruth’s Chris to celebrate ‘A good business month’ but the night before, I had put it all together. So I quickly picked a nice dress to wear. That evening, we went to dinner, and Don was so casual that I had completely forgotten that I suspected he might propose. When dessert was delivered, my plate had an open ring box on it instead of dessert. Don got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and I replied, ‘Absolutely!’ After dinner, we went over to his parents’ house to share the news, and my Mom and Dad answered the door! They were there to surprise me, along with all of our friends and family. We partied into the wee hours. – Madison
