Samantha and Eric were married on a warm summer day at the beautiful Sans Souci Farms in a rustic and charming Southern celebration! Despite living in the same small town, having many mutual friends and a few “almost” connections, Samantha and Eric never managed to meet each other until 2013. Samantha says their love story is like that of a good movie or book – when two people are right under each other’s noses but never manage to meet until the timing is just right. And thankfully that was one night in February, when they finally met through the smokey haze at a local bar. Their eyes met, they talked, and the rest is their happily ever after. The bride gave her father a truly unique gift on her wedding day: a personalized hammer with the inscription, “Thanks for helping me build my life.” For wedding favors, they had little jars of honey from Samantha’s uncle’s farm in North Carolina, and the couple departed their reception while guests waved blue ribbon wands with bells on them.
