For wedding vendors in the Franklin, Tennessee area, one of the best things is the abundance of rich history and culture. Naturally, the nearly 200-year-old Homestead Manor was the perfect choice for SheHeWE Photography and Southern Events Party Rental Company’s lavish Southern gothic styled shoot! Rich jewel tones like burgundy and navy balanced out a lighter palette, and the iconic home made a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. Meanwhile, the library was a great spot for the groom’s quarters with its dark wood bookshelves and oversized fireplace. They went back to the roots of wedding traditions to create this 19th-century inspiration, using vintage furniture, old-fashioned pies and vintage-styled paper goods. The reception tablescape was ornate and quintessentially Southern with gold-rimmed china and magnolia leaves. The gothic details of the homestead’s barn, from the antique window frame above the mantle to the chandelier, added to the gothic grandeur. The bride and groom modeled attire with an antique aesthetic, from the bride’s high-neck lace and sleeves to the groom’s soft gray wool suit.
