A rustic yet chic yellow and navy wedding in Montreal

We could not have had such a beautiful day if our families had not been there to help us create all the little DIY elements that made the day unique and reflective of us as a couple. Out in the woods cutting fallen tree trunks to serve as décor, spending hours on end collecting, boiling and jarring the delicious maple syrup that served as favors, sitting in my basement cutting, wrapping and tagging all the favors to make them the perfect addition to the décor or even spending full afternoons shopping for grey material for added texture on the guest tables. Even Giovanni got artsy assembling mason jar candles to be used on the tables for the big day! And who said men weren’t crafty?! – Melissa
