It’s always a good day when I receive a submission from the brilliant, Jose Villa. If you’ve been reading wedding blogs for a while, you’ll be able to spot his work the instant you see it. His images are filled with the most beautiful light, and his composition is exquisitely timeless. I could scroll through Chris and Jenet’s wedding for hours. So much beauty and inspiration. More from their wonderful planner, Laurie Arons…
Chris Jenet’s early May wedding was a celebration of springtime beauty, driven by the bride’s impeccable taste and vision for a romantic yet chic wedding. The couple chose Napa hotel Carneros Inn for its clean white lines and fresh California style. Jenet wanted the beautiful romantic florals to compliment this fresh feeling, so we designed the wedding in mostly white with accents of light grays and taupes.
The ceremony took place in the resort’s Apple Orchard, overlooking the early budding vines. A chuppah constructed of natural linen and the charming garden chairs were adorned with beautiful white locally-grown clematis.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner at Carneros Inn’s Hilltop patio and dining room.
A special surprise followed dinner when videographer Cana Family played a beautifully edited video of the wedding ceremony and reception thus far. Family and friends were teary-eyed as they watched the joy of the day played back before them.
As dancing to DJ Chris Huvane kicked into gear, a fun candy bar by PS Paper provided a little taste of something sweet…until the stunning cake by Perfect Endings was cut that is. The beautifully sculpted fondant honored the lace Jenet’s Monique Lhulilier gown.
