Madi and Chris had a beautiful destination wedding in the mountains of Utah! They live in Arizona, but Madi grew up in Utah, so it was the perfect spot for their stunning mountaintop wedding in romantic hues of ivory, blush and gold. Madi’s soft pastel palette was inspired by the bridesmaid dresses and the dahlias and ranunculus in the floral arrangements. Pepper Nix Photography captured their day!
A romantic, subtly vintage gold mountain wedding in Park City, UT
[How They Met] We met in the gym. Chris was a trainer at a personal training gym and I started training there with another trainer. We used to flirt when I was on the treadmill and slowly started talking to each other. We ended up dating in secret for a few months until we finally told his boss. [The Proposal] We were in Connecticut visiting Chris’s grandparents who live on a beautiful lake. He took me out on their pontoon boat and I thought for sure he was gonna ask me out there… but he didn’t and I wasn’t happy. Once we docked (his family and my brother and his friend were all hanging out on their dock on the water) he turned around and asked me to marry him in front of everyone. His aunt was hiding in the bushes taking pictures, she ended up getting amazing shots!! After, he had champagne and roses waiting for us. – Madi
