Tracy and Kelvin chose the St. Regis San Francisco for their summer wedding – a modern celebration in shades of lavender, nude, gray and black with lovely floral details and a stunning cake with lavender “pixels,” all expertly captured by Tinywater Photography.
The most important thing to us on our wedding day is to be able to really enjoy the time with our friends and family. We are hoping the event to be contemporary and classy but casual enough for everyone to enjoy themselves.
Ideally we want the wedding to feel like us: laid back, little nerdy touches, great food, San Francisco. The personal touches I’m hoping to add are pixel art – from the invitations to the table numbers – I want these to feel very video gamey!
The favors are a combination of bacon and beer chocolates from Socola Chocolatiers, a local business. Everyone that knows me understands my love for bacon, and everyone that knows Kelvin knows his love for beer!
The biggest sources of wedding inspiration for the color palette and dress look was Valentino’s Spring 2010 collection: the ruffles, modern romance with an edge, I love every look! Otherwise I’m just trying to stay true to the things I like! – Tracy
