Sunny and Berkley’s multicultural wedding was a two-day event that began with a traditional Sikh marriage ceremony in a local Gurudwara. The traditional ceremony is called Anand Karaj, which translates as “Blissful Union.” It brought together two families and cultures to share in something new to one group and to honor something familiar to the other. The following day, Sunny and Berkley had a New England-style wedding on a small buffalo farm owned by family friends. This couple did most of the planning and decorations themselves, including preparing the barn for the beautiful reception. Drinker Images captured their special wedding, which brought together two cultures who seamlessly shared in the celebration of marriage.
