Artistic Bungalow Wedding

This lovely couple wanted to be sure their wedding reflected their passion for art and their community, so they chose to have their ceremony in their bungalow in Curtis Park. Heather is a musician (she’s hosted her own local radio music show) and Aaron is part of a co-op gallery in town. Their house is filled with artwork, so it was the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. The background for their ceremony was hand cut from felt, and the decorative balloons were filled with hand cut confetti. All of the balloons were tied together (a symbol of how every guest was interconnected) so any time a single balloon was touched, the rest would move along with it! Heather wore a gown from J. Crew, and her boots belonged to Aaron’s grandfather who recently passed away. She wore 6 pence for good luck, as well as a handmade hair piece. The maid of honor created the bride’s bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere, and Aaron’s tie was custom made by a local embroiderer (under the artistic direction of Heather). Carmen Salazar Photography did a magnificent job capturing their artistic and incredibly thoughtful wedding day!
