The theme of this breathtaking styled wedding shoot from Custom by Nicole Photography is a dramatic and romantic interpretation of an old world circus! Instead of exploring the playful side of the circus theme, the team of vendors wanted to provide inspiration to brides looking for a sophisticated wedding that’s a little different than the norm. The bride wore a vintage custom-made dress accented with a black lace sash, feathered birdcage veil, and dark purple vintage-style ankle boots. The groom wore a subtle gray plaid tuxedo with a black velvet lapel and a black bow tie. The floral arrangements had a dark and dramatic tone with deep colors, weeping flowers, and a lot of interesting textures from the hanging amaranthus, privet berries, white snow berries, artichokes, seeded eucalyptus and candy cane dahlias. The smaller of the centerpieces was actually displayed in a top hat, and the tablescape featured a variety of vintage china along with gold silverware and candles atop a rustic wood tabletop, with upside down umbrellas hanging overhead. The popcorn table and hanging wood table held a colorful big top-inspired fondant cake. And what would a circus-themed event be without some furry friends?
