Mulberry and Gold Enchanted Forest Wedding

Having grown up with more than 20 acres of forest as her backyard in Virginia, Brianna knew that her wedding ceremony with Matt would take place there, particularly in the small clearing that her family and childhood friends affectionately dubbed “Sherwood Forest.” Over 10 months, Brianna’s father, brother and the groom worked tirelessly to turn the childhood playground into the enchanted forest Brianna had dreamed of for her wedding day. The pergola, hand-built by the bride’s father, was nestled in between trees and draped end to end in stunning floral arrangements. The bridesmaids were beautiful in their floor-length mulberry gowns and bouquets, and the groom and groomsmen were equally dapper in classic black suits. Following the ceremony in the forest, cocktails, dinner and dancing were held at a local winery, where tables were draped in deep mulberry linens and topped with lush centerpieces and bronze lanterns. Brianna and Matt shared dinner amd cupcakes under a canopy of flowers before dancing the night away with family and friends, and Stephanie Messick captured every magical moment!
