A colorful modern spring wedding in Lisle, IN
Courtney and Brett wanted to throw a modern, non-religious wedding that showed off their fun side, so their spring wedding in Lisle was popping with color and included a trip to the bowling alley! Courtney chose bold colors for her bridesmaid dresses and flowers, and she and her maid of honor made the ceremony backdrop themselves – hanging sachets of lavender. They nixed the traditional wedding cake for an intricate layered pie with adorable panda toppers (a theme that was repeated on Brett’s cufflinks and the invitations). The place cards were made to look like tiny bowling pins, and during cocktail hour, guests were able to hang out on the balcony and play bocce ball. Kelly Benton Photography captured their unique and entertaining celebration!
