Caitlyn and Aaron decided to elope, and it was a complete surprise to family and friends when they Facetimed after the ceremony to announce it! They wanted an intimate celebration just for the two of them, and they invited Brooke Hughes Photography along to capture each moment. Their day began at the courthouse in San Marcos, where they had a ceremony outside in the courtyard. After the ceremony, they headed to The Lakehouse Resort, where Caitlyn’s colleague at Serendipity Events set up everything so the bride could have a stress-free wedding day. Caitlyn made her bouquet, flower crown, boutonniére and centerpieces herself, as well as the cake! She even hand appliquéd two lace lovebirds onto the bottom of her dress, which she took from one of her grandmother’s slips for “something old.” After sharing their first meal together as husband and wife at the cutest sweetheart table, they headed to the dock to cut the cake. Finally, they ended the day cruising around the lake aboard the resort’s boat!
