From Anna, the bride and stylist:
“The idea of the wedding began to take a shape in my mind well before I met my husband Dmitry. I have always loved my city and one of my favorite summer pastimes is taking solo walks through it. I was enamored with the city and dreamed of sharing this beauty with a loved one.
When Dmitry proposed, there was not even a shadow of doubt about what the wedding should be. The city has become our backstage and a guide line. My dream came true as we walked around the city and held those dear moments in our hearts and on the camera.
Our wedding took place over two autumn days. We separated days because we wanted to have our own celebration, the day just for the two of us, and than a party with close family and friends. I mirrored the mood of autumn in the styling of the restaurant, wedding outfit and floral decorations. For the bouquet, I chose autumn Symphoricarpus for its simple coloring and beautiful berries instead of flowers. Windswept tissue, autumn plants, dried flowers, forest grass and a dress designed with voluminous sleeves was all a reflection of this autumn inspiration.
The wedding party took part in our favorite restaurant: we have a tradition to have breakfasts and dinners there. Warm light, a cocktail dinner, friendly staff, and food created with imagination made this evening perfect. Our autumn wedding story turned out to be very warm, chamber and intimate one.”
