Mayan Inspired Wedding in Playa del Carmen

Leila and Sebastian planned their dream destination wedding off the coast of the Riviera Maya at the gorgeous Riu Hotel and Xcaret Park. The bride looked absolutely stunning in her crystal and lace embroidered wedding gown with an open back, and the groom looked just as handsome in a sleek black tuxedo and black bowtie. They rode to their ceremony at Xcaret Park in a vintage Rolls Royce. For more than ten centuries, Xcaret was one of the most important ports of call and Mayan ceremonial centers, and they chose this sacred destination as the perfect place to exchange their vows. Following the ceremony, their guests were greeted at a beautiful reception area decorated with an abundance of candles, lanterns and ivory flowers, with delicious margaritas and an elaborate dessert table filled with a variety of delectable desserts from gold-covered cake pops to decorative cupcakes.
