From Alicia, the photographer:
“It’s not an embellishment to say that there are new trends almost daily in the wedding industry. In the past few years, we’ve seen everything from floral crowns, blush bridesmaid gowns, loose updos, and wild bouquets just to name a few! And while some trends seem to fade as quickly as they arrive, many are here to stay.
One that I haven’t gotten sick of are soft and flowy wedding gowns that are often accompanied by a lace top. I have always thought there was a timeless elegance about lace and when paired with chiffon, it’s an unstoppable combination that is flattering on so many different figures. And from a photography perspective, nothing photographs more beautifully; the tops have so much intricate detail and the skirts so much movement that it makes images feel alive.
It would be almost impossible to list every designer who creates these lovely dresses, but one of the first was certainly Emily Riggs Bridal. This stunning lavender version was at home during our color inspiration shoot in Provence, France. Complemented by a lush bouquet designed by Oleander Curated, this gorgeous dress made its mark among the sunny morning light in the olive groves of this beautiful estate.”
