From the photographer, Ana:
Julie and Nathan both live in L.A, and had invited their closest family and friends to celebrate their wedding in Liguria, Italy. They wanted a venue that was picturesque, not too touristy, and close to an international airport. Their planner found just that in Villa Durazzo. It was built in 1678 as a summer residence of the Durazzo family and is located in the middle of a beautiful park overlooks the Gulf of Tigullio. The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful courtyard and the guests moved indoors for dinner.
Julie, the bride, designed all of the stationery, menu, escort card and thank you cards. The couple focused on simplicity and simply being surrounded by their closest family and friends. The event was beautifully described by Julie, “We just had the typical toasts and dances and a video of Nathan and me when we were kids. Last minute, we remembered our friend is an accomplished opera singer, and recruited him to sing at the reception!”
