Jola and Radek – Wedding date and location 6th October 2018 – Palace Sulisław https://www.palacsulislaw.pl/en/ – Ceremony description Before the church ceremony guests have gathered together to witness the blessing and symbolic farewells with parents, relatives, and friends. After the blessing, we have thanked, hugged and kissed our parents and the wedding party prepared to leave for church. Radek and I were riding together to the church. On our ceremony my father walked me to the altar. While we were leaving the church, the Wedding March of Mendelssohn was played by the organist. Guests have left earlier and were waiting in line in front of the church. Before the official congratulations our guests were throwing small peaces of flowers and rice to us. It was a really unique moment. – Reception description After the ceremony in a church, we went to the palace where the wedding party was held. There we were welcomed with Bread and Salt and two glasses of champagne. We have drunk it and we have thrown the glasses behind our backs. The glasses were broken – it means we will leave together long and happy. The reception has started and the dinner was served. First dance has opened the dancing part of the wedding. Many games and attractions were taking place during the evening. At mid-night the unveiling and capping ceremony (called oczepiny) took place. All single ladies/men have circled us as the maid and groom of honor have been standing behind us and have been removing the veil and the tie. At this moment, I was officially considered a married woman and Radek was considered a husband. After the veil and the tie have been being thrown to one of the single women/man. – How many dresses did you try on? Why did you choose the one you did? Before I picked my dress I have seen ca. 100 dresses and I have tried on 20. I was dreaming about royal long train, princess grown with long sleeves. One day I was very curious and I have decided to try mermaid dress with 2 trains. Once I have done it I knew it was a perfect match for me. I have been given 3 different dresses in one grown. Superb royal style version for church, perfect tulle dress for first dance and a siren shape dress for the evening reception. Guests had impression I was wearing 3 different dresses, although I was only taking off a special layer at certain time. – The three words that best describes how you felt in your wedding dress Princess, Superb, Unique -What made you decide to sell your wedding dress? I would like other women to wear it and enjoy her wedding in royal style. This is an excellent grown with 3 dresses and I am happy to see other bride wearing it. By Selling it I’m certain it will bring a lot of happiness to other bride. In my view it would be a pity for the dress to be kept in my wardrobe so by selling it I give the dress the chance for new owner and ‘life’ at next wedding.
