A Whirlwind Summer Romance Turned Beautiful Destination Wedding Ceremony

From Claudia, the Photographer:

In our experience as wedding photographers, many of the destination weddings in Italy are of couples who actually had proposals and got engaged here in Italy while on vacation. Ours is a country so filled with romance and passion, with immense beauty and enchanting colors, flavors, and tastes, that it is difficult to resist its love spells! Our inspiration for this session was an authentic, Mediterranean, intense, love story. Together with one of our favorite wedding planners, we decided to create a wedding that in all its details reflected the memories of that magical Italian summer vacation in which the couple fell in love – a romantic Apulian Masseria, with its ancient tiles and vivid colors, the cactus and grapefruit trees under which so many kisses were exchanged, the strong smell of the countryside flowers, the romantic sunsets on the beach, and the handwritten love letters that were inevitably written afterwards.

From Chiara Sciuto, the Wedding Planner:

“The creative guideline I followed was to build on the local traditions and mix them with a colorful Mediterranean style. At the heart of the concept are the cementine, the traditional hand-painted tiles, rich in colors, geometries, and uniqueness. The search for authenticity had me opting for a rough floral setting in the same color palette of the cementine: turquoise, green, mustard, cognac, and a touch of light dusty pink. The table setting is gloriously rich of flowers, fruits, gold bordered glasses and wooden candles. All these exquisite details come together to recreate an alfresco of that romantic Italian summer, immersed in a beautiful, and yet uncontaminated land, rich in culture and traditions, which is Apulia.”
