Invitation Wording for Belated Reception or Party for a Destination Wedding or Elopement
Note: There is no need to mention the wedding ceremony or details about the ceremony since the recipient will understand that the couple have already be married or will be married by the wording. (No mention of the wedding so guests will understand they are only being invited to the reception). Use the married names if invitations are going to be mailed out after the couple is married and use the woman’s maiden name if the invitations will be mailed out before the wedding takes place.
