I love the luscious berry hues in this Indian summer-inspired styled shoot from Sarah Elizabeth Photography and Loba Design Co. I think they’re the perfect colors for that unseasonably warm transitional period between summer and fall. The berry tones are carried throughout the design in the flowers, the stationery (accented by gold), and the berry galette and naked cake! The palette is ideal for a natural green space like this private residence in Tampa because the rich tones really pop.
A luscious berry-hued Indian summer wedding styled shoot in Tampa, FL
When deciding on the perfect spot to shoot this Indian summer inspired shoot, we stumbled across the backyard of a private residence. It was nestled in the back of a beautiful neighborhood in Tampa Bay and it was everything our vision-filled eyes had hoped to find. As we styled each scene, it was all about making a statement, but in a very natural way. We chose to go with a berry color scheme, heavy on the green with a touch of gold. My very favorite gold accent was our friend, the grazing deer. The dip-dyed tablecloth and watercolored escort cards drenched each scene in the delicious rich tones. As an Indian summer trickles deep warm days well into the season of fall, we were inspired to trickle in warm and deep-colored details everywhere we could – blackberries within the bouquet and centerpieces, and the dessert table overflowed with a dark chocolate cake and open-face berry-filled galette. All of the paper details were handmade and were thought out with placing in mind. The circular menus found their place centered at each plate setting while the escort cards hung on the overgrown vines. The wooden chairs and accent table helped to keep the natural feel, as well as the ceremony arch. – Sarah, Loba Design Co.
